Happy New Year !!

Here comes 2018 knocking at our door,

Get ready for the celebration and party to the core,

Another year passes by with the feelings good and bad,

At times we were happy at times we were sad.

So welcome this opportunity to make everything right,

Coz darkness is always conquered by the morning light !!

Eighteen years have passed since the turn of the century,

Adorned with so many accomplishments, inventions and discoveries,

Human kind yet again proves its might,

So lets wait n watch what this new year brings in sight,

As the year 2017 leaves its trace,

It will mark the beginning of another rat race.

Parties, fireworks, feasts and decoration,

This holiday season is full of celebration,

With each of us having our sweet resolution,

Which some will follow and others will forget like a routine tradition.

So get up my friends and eliminate any pessimism from our life,

It's time to be optimistic and keep our hopes alive,

So let's take a resolution to be happy and contented this year,

No matter how big or small is our piece of share,

And promote mutual respect, integrity and be helpful to every peer,

Coz this is the only secret mantra to wipe out our prevailing fear,

Now it's time for me to scream out loud and wish you all a very Happy New Year !!

A Globetrotter

                 

I opened my eyes in this world of disorder,

Startled by the nuances my thoughts had to offer,

And as I grew up from teenage to older,

Who knew one day I'll become a globetrotter!!

It all started back in the days with my father,

He took us across the country from border to border,

Moulded me into someone with an urge to wander,

With a dream to see the world from North to down under !! 

From India to America and Switzerland to Spain,

Riding buses, flights, ferries and trains,

Amidst rivers, lakes, mountains and plains,

And roaming around in all sorts of terrains.

Different cuisines, cultures, languages and skins, 

Treating their visitors no different but akin!!

But seeing so much has expanded my horizon,

It's not about just packing bags and having fun,

There is something more which ties all of us,

It nothing but a beautiful bond of humanity and love,

We all are chapters of one common book,

Together we can achieve whatever we could,

Every moment, this emotion makes me proud and stronger,

                             That I'm a globetrotter,

                                   I'm a globetrotter !!
